Welcome — I’m Kevin, a photographer who loves capturing the moments and places that make life feel a little more meaningful. Whether it’s the quiet glow of sunrise over the water, wildlife moving naturally through their world, or the character of an old street full of texture and history, I believe every photograph tells a story.

My passion for photography started early. As a teenager, I helped my Aunt Eunice who owned our local paper, The Brown County Press, shooting black‑and‑white Tri‑X film, developing it in the garage, and printing images with my Beseler enlarger. My mom wasn’t thrilled about the developer smell drifting through the laundry room, but those long nights in the darkroom shaped how I see the world.

In high school, a couple friends and I took most of the candid photos for the yearbook. After graduation, life pulled me in other directions for a while, but once I began traveling, the camera found its way back into my hands.

Now that I’m retired after spending 45 years in the Fire Service, I have the time to explore more, travel farther, and photograph the subjects I enjoy most — especially wildlife and landscapes. This site is a place to share those moments and the stories behind them.
