Capturing Life, One Frame at a Time

Welcome, I’m Kevin. I take photos of things I enjoy and that matter to me. That might be an early morning or evening by the water, some wildlife in their natural habitat, or an old street with interesting details. I think every photo tells a little story.

I got into photography as an early teen. My Aunt Eunice owned our local paper, The Brown County Press, and I helped her take pictures for stories and local sports. I shot black and white (Tri-X) film, developed it in our garage, and made prints with my Besler enlarger. My mom was not a fan of the chemical film developer smell in the laundry room.

In high school, a couple friends and I took most of the candid photos for the yearbook. After graduation, I stepped away from photography for a bit. Once I started traveling, I picked it back up.

Now that I’m retired from the Fire Service, I have more time to travel and take pictures of the things I really enjoy, especially wildlife and landscapes.
